If your bucket list has many places, then you might consider Royal Caribbean over Disney Magic Cruise since it has 25 ships versus Disney’s four ships. You’ll be delighted to know that Royal Caribbean is easier on the budget than the Disney Magic Cruise. Another advantage is the comfort of having your meals wherever you please. 

The Carnival Breeze has many activities for kids. Even though it may not have the Disney theme like the Disney Magic Cruise ship, it has many events and shows to keep kids engaged. ‘Night Owl’ is a service with which you can enjoy some kids-free time at a fee. ‘Seuss at Sea’ features a group story time, Seuss parade in the ship, and camp activities. There are spas and fitness centers, but it might be high priced for some. Kids can enjoy a spa too with their parents. 

Holland America Line has the Nieuw Amesterdam cruise, which is not as expansive as Disney Magic Cruise. However, it does have kids activities to carry forward its image of a family friendly cruise. Expect games, events, treasure hunts, and sundae parties as part of the fun activities. Older kids can have a blast with karaoke and culinary classes. A basketball court and swimming pool complement it well. The cost of traveling with Holland America is comparatively less than the Disney cruise.
