Parvez started his artistic career in 1999 and his first art show took place in London, Ontario, Canada. The artist who was hosting it, Phil Rubinoff, is one of the first to blend photography with technology through computer software.

In 2003, Taj founded his own boutique art company named Parvez Michel, Inc. in Beverly Hills, CA.
