The owners continue to limit the restorations on this Castle whilst raising its quality as a hotel, restaurant and attraction destination. The rooms are modernized and there are more than ever added to the Castle.

Many of the ghosts at this Castle are as historic as the Castle itself. After the Protestant Reformation, the Castle was passed into a new King’s hands and used as a prison. In fact, the photo has been technically investigated to see if the file size, aperture setting etc., impacted this appearance. However, nothing unusual was reported to indicate the camera effected the figure’s appearance. To this day, it’s difficult to explain why the figure of a girl appears in the photograph.
