What is ‘Kevin’?
Codename Kevin was used for Samsung’s new Chromebook – a laptop that will run Google’s Chrome operating system (OS). Google’s open-source OS is specifically designed for larger screens. The tech giant has been constantly updating the OS, and now it can support the Google Play store and Android apps.
Chrome OS has been around for some five years, and is now the most widely used web browser worldwide. For the first time ever, more computers that operate on Chrome OS have been sold than Macs this year.
Technology blog “Chrome Unboxed” revealed some of the key specs of the upcoming device. According to several media publications, the next-gen hybrid will come with its own stylus.
