The Best Lamborghinis and What Made Them Special

The history of Lamborghini started in 1963 when Ferruccio Lamborghini founded it. He was born in 1916 and decided to build a factory of luxury sports cars. As he was already a wealthy man, he began this extraordinary adventure with his entire heart in it. Following the second World War, he founded his tractor factory which created a lasting impression on the market forever. Here are our favourite models from this amazing collection born of his auto passion.

    1. 350 GT

The 350 GT model was built in 1965 of only 131 other models. Its 60-degree V-12 engine with a five-speed manual transmission are a few of its best features. It was the first Lamborghini car to be officially mass-produced. The 350 GT was an instant success and continues to be a popular sought car.

    2. Miura

Another of the best Lamborghinis is the Miura. When it was first produced, it was the fastest car in the world. With a top speed of 280 km/h and an acceleration of 0 to 100km/h in less than seven seconds, it set a high standard for sports car. This two-seater iconic car redefined what a sports car should look and perform like.

    3. Countach

The Countach took the Miura model to another level. Its designers angled the bodywork for a dramatic look. Later variants got more edgy with added spoilers, fender flares and scoops. Its ‘80’s design and angled appearance made it loved amongst sports car enthusiasts. The 4-litre V12 engine helped it to reach a speed of 309 km/h. Not only was it a stunning sight, but exceeded Lamborghini’s performance expectations.

    4. LM002

The Lm002 is one of the best Lamborghinis of all time which paved the way for off-road vehicles forever. Inspired by the previous Cheetah, the Lamborghini LM002 was the first off-road vehicle produced by Lamborghini, in 1982. It took four years to produce the car with its V12 engine. It could climb up a 120 percent gradient effortlessly with a speed of 210 km/h. This model was later adjusted and improved which made an appearance a decade later.

    5. Diablo

The Diablo reached a top speed of 320 km/h and accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. This car claimed first position in the super sports car competition. It quickly became a favourite amongst car enthusiasts around the globe, when produced between 1990 and 2001. The Diablo kept Lamborghini in business during hard times, and over 3,000 models were sold around the world.
