Okay, we’re going to be real with you guys. We’re totally confused by the Carmar Denim $168 Extreme Cut Out Pant.
Have you seen them yet? First off, we can blame Kendall Jenner for the invisible jeans trend. The extreme cut out pant has been the talk of the internet the past few days, sparking confusion and even outrage across social media.
Carmar Denim has even managed to snag press hits from top news sites including The Guardian, Harper’s Bazaar, and even CBS News. Remember the good old days when jeans were just - well, jeans? We’re sure you’ve seen some interesting denim cuts before, but these $168 Carmar Denim jeans are doing something totally new in the world of fashion - although it’s not necessarily a good thing. Oh how things have changed. Today's fashion trends are certainly not what they used to be.
Carmar Denim and the Extreme Cut Out Pant - A "Free Spirited Style"
9Gag aptly says the Extreme Cut Out Pant is "practically an anatomy lesson." Just take a look and see them for yourself. The model on their site is sporting basically just pockets, hems, and seams.
On the website, the Extreme Cut Out Pant is described as a “high rise pant with large statement cutouts on front and back" and come in a “relaxed fit.” Believe it or not, they’re completely sold out. If you want some, you’d have to join a pretty long waitlist.
Given the brand’s ethos, the “Extreme Cut Out Pant” makes some sense. Carmar Denim describes themselves as a “premium denim brand catered to the free-spirited generation of today.” To keep up in the fashion game, you have to try out some pretty daring new styles.
Honestly, we don't know what to think about the extreme cut out pant.
We don’t even think it’s safe to even call the "Extreme Cut Out Pant" pants. To do so, would be the equivalent of calling a skeleton a body or a wooden base frame a home. If you want our advise, same some money and wear nothing. Actually, don’t do that. Put something on and check out some of our favorite luxury brands here.
