Yes, you read that right. The days of sparkly braziers and flower crowns are gone. As much as we love a new trend, we’re not sure if we can get behind this one (all pun intended). While Coachella is gone, festival season is far from over. With that, the internet has come together and put forth a crazy not-so-outfit-outfit suggestion for you (aka the glitter bum). We know the web is a crazy place but this look is pretty out there. Prepare for a storm ahead, as the glitter bum takes over your Instagram feed. 

We first spotted this look on the UK glitter brand Go Get Glitter Instagram page just last week. The entirely new look has already taken the web by storm. The brand rolled out a full new line of specialty designs, including thick layers of glitter paint along with rhinestones, crystals, and studs to give the illusion of jeweled underwear.

Sophia Levy, the co-founder of Go Get Glitter said: “We’re all about being creative, free, and loving the skin you’re in.” We don’t know about you, but we don’t want to see that much skin. Let's hope the glitter bum is a fleeting trend.

If you’re thinking ‘wow, that seems uncomfortable,’ you’re definitely right. Picture sitting down on about one hundred sharp pebbles and you’ll get the picture. Let’s just hope you don’t sweat. California’s Inland Valley isn’t exactly cool and breezy come May and June.
