Everything needs to be perfect and most of all, she MUST look (and feel) amazing. Now, we all know there are many things to worry about when it comes to the big day. And with New York International Bridal Week now in the bag, every future bride will be ecstatic to see all the beautiful pieces they get to choose from.

Some of the biggest names in bridal fashion showcased their Spring 2019 collections at the yearly New York Bridal Fashion Week event. The exhibition included designers like Vera Wang, Reem Acra, Viktor & Rolf, Ines Di Santo, Naeem Khan and many others. This time around, the calendar was filled with less shows than usual, allowing for more engaged and intimate displays on the runway. On those runways were countless variations and styles shown, giving everyone something they could fall in love with.

Numerous designs were inspired by this year's royal wedding, which veered away from previous years “super sexy” look. So, we saw many classical type dresses that included traditional silhouettes, more coverage, simple colors/detailing and very full skirts. Even trains and veils came back with a vengeance this year, presenting themselves among various looks and styles.

Not into the traditional look and enjoy those “sexier”, more modern styles? Don’t worry! There were still scads of gowns filled with plunging neck lines, thigh high slits, off the shoulder bodices and total open backs. Certain trends also played a big role this year. Such as frequent floral patterns, 3D textures, tight silhouettes and transparent, sheer panels being used in a number of designs and collections.
